Plot:

Lara sets out to look for the dagger of Xian when she confronts one of Marco barstool's henchmen in china, in a race against time, to prevent him from using the dagger for his own ends

Graphics are on a advanced scale of it’s first version.

Controls allow Lara a more fluid motion and set of moves, this time she can ride vehicles in-game.

Levels introduce a variety of settings such as: Underwater, China, Tibet, Floating islands and more.

The croft manor is more expanded and has many obstacles to challenge Lara's abilities and agility. An array of weapons is also introduced, for many situations, and bosses alike.

OUTFIT:
Outfits in Tomb Raider 2^nd are very much varied to the stages of each level or world Lara encounters

climate wise and comfort. Game introduces a no hassle save at anywhere point feature, however caution is advised to not make the save on a dangerous point where it could make the player backtrack to an extreme length.

**An expansion called TR 2^nd Gold came out featuring a few more levels based on a new story**
